Created in tandem with the documentary Horseplay, directed by Maggie Contreras,
The Intrepid Girls of Hobby Horse is a set of portraits of the world around the film. As one of the filmmakers on the project, I approached the stills as an extension of the documentary. Intimate large format portraits of the pioneering ladies behind the hobby horsing storm sweeping the globe.
