Nécessaire

Hard light, soft skin. A sun-drenched beauty test shoot for Nécessaire, created with director and photographer Nicole Mason. The idea was to set the unforgiving brightness of a day at the beach against the quiet, soft warmth of skin cared for well.

We leaned into midday sun, hard shadows and salt air, then let the frame settle on the details: warm skin, easy stillness, the clean forms of Nécessaire's products. At the center is the sunscreen, the thing that lets you stay soft in the harshest elements. The light is hard, and the feeling is anything but.
